My Review

I used a 1kg of GoNutrition’s Solo in the jammie biscuit flavour. I used the 1kg bag for roughly one week since it is designed to offer just over 14 servings. Due to the low number of servings and relative short period of use, it becomes very difficult to make any comments long term results; so in this review, I will be discussing aspects such as taste, mixability and immediate afterthoughts. Potential results due to composition will also be discussed.

The flavouring was very original having not heard of it before and I believe they’re they only brand in the market to currently offer it. However, personally, I wasn’t a fan of the flavour as a personal preference. The flavour itself had a strong sense of strawberry jam to it with a biscuit texture. The powder mixed right away when mixed with 250ml of water but does foam up a little.

GoNutrition’s Solo is designed to be an all-in-one product. It contains whey protein both as an isolate and a concentrate to facilitate both immediate release and intermediate release proteins as well as creatine, HMB, L-Glutamine, Taurine maltodextrin and fine oats. These are all muscle building and weight gaining ingredients which we have discussed as “Supplement Guides” before which should potentially promote gaining weight and aid recovery. The protein: carbohydrate ratio is 1:2 which is designed for providing energy and promoting speedier muscle recovery.

Overall, a well-designed all-in-one product to help with both muscle recovery and growth jammed with lots of ingredients with positive evidence behind them. And although I wasn’t a fan of the jammie biscuit flavour I think it was pretty spot on.
