My Review

I used a 2.25kg tub of Hench Nutrition's Hi-calorie mass gainer. I was taking two scoops twice a day which meant that the tub lasted me 2 weeks. However, during these two weeks I gained a serious amount of weight. Coupled with a predominantly heavy powerlifting routine, I gained 2kg over the two weeks. Not all of that weight was muscle, my body fat percentage went up by about 1.5% and gained just under 1kg (800g) of what I would assume to be lean mass. Recovery time was fantastic which meant I was able to train 4 times a week with a day's rest every two days.

I used the chocolate flavour and it was very delicious whether taken alone, mixed with porridge or coffee. It mixed straight away and left no lumps or powder-y taste within.

Currently priced at just under £26 I feel like it's very affordable, considering the ingredients included (MCT's, EFA's & Omega's) and the results I experienced. The only downside was that it only lasts 2 weeks, however, there is a bigger tub, weighing 4kg available for £36. Seems like I might be going for that next time I am bulking.

Overall, Hench Nutrition's Hi-Calorie Mass Gainer is an effective, delicious and affordable weight gainer which I would strongly recommend for anyone looking to put on weight, quickly.
