My Review

I only used LA Muscle's LA Whey for 2 weeks. So commenting on any gains during that period should be taken as an unreliable measure. Two weeks are hardly long enough.

First of all, LA Whey mixes really well and quickly, effortlessly in fact with minimal water. However, on drinking it it has a rough powdery texture, doesn't really taste like Strawberry and is white. I am not sure how I feel about since it means there aren't any colourings in it, yet has a distinct strawberry smell. However, the actual taste is a little far from that.

During these two weeks my weight has gone by 2.3kg and I am visibly more lean. I haven't measured my body fat percentage recently so would be unable to quantify that, but I do feel like I am making progress. During this time I changed my training to a GVT four-day routine.

As a product, you get 21g of protein per 30g serving. 5g of which are glutamine, and a further 1g is other amino acids. That brings down the actual protein content to about 15g per serving. A little low for my liking.

Overall, I am not sure about how effective it is, and am not entirely convinced by the flavour.
